Texas has chosen the Closed/Hybrid EVV model that forces all agency users to use their selected vendor unless they choose to use an approved PSO or Proprietary System Operator. Agencies providing services that require EVV must use HHA eXchange or an approved PSO as their EVV vendor. Although TX allows an authorized PSO to be used instead of a TX paid vendor, TX does not pay for EVV when a PSO is utilized. KanTime Home Healthcare EMR is integrated with Vesta EVV, now as a PSO, in addition to HHA eXchange. KanTime is exploring the possibility of becoming a PSO for the Texas market but this is still in process and a determination is not likely before the end of 2023. You may continue using KanTime software solutions to manage your agency in Texas.
