Dallas, TX (June 18, 2020) – KanTime, a leader in the post-acute EMR space, announces its expansion to its leadership team with the hiring of Kristen Duell, as the Executive Vice President of Business Development & Marketing and Robert Dean, as the Executive Vice President of Sales. These additions bring a wealth of senior experience in developing industry-leading companies.
Kristen returns to KanTime after her most recent post as CEO of Savii, Inc. Her 17 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, and the rapid learning that comes with being a CEO, make her a perfect choice to lead the efforts around commercial strategy.
Robert has a long history of leading companies in the post-acute market through rapid growth periods, having successfully built several market-leading businesses. His expertise in developing and executing growth strategies will be instrumental in leading KanTime to a market-leading position.
The hiring of these two industry veterans comes timely as KanTime prepares to announce its expansion into new markets within the post-acute industry.
When Kristen explained why she chose to return to KanTime, she stated, “The technology was a big part of my decision to rejoin the KanTime family, but that wasn’t the only factor. The organization is diverse and champions equality by hiring people of different ethnic backgrounds and has found tremendous success in supporting women leaders. I will be in good company as one of the executive members at KanTime.”
Robert shared the same thoughts but added, “KanTime’s products and services are very well positioned to make them a market leader in the post-acute technology market. I am excited to be part of that journey”.
The post-acute industry has been profoundly affected by regulatory changes, quickly followed by a pandemic. KanTime has seen this as an opportunity to invest, innovate, and expand. Ultimately supporting the ever-changing dynamic. Sundar Kannan, founder, and CEO of KanTime feels a responsibility to help those in the post-acute market achieve new levels of efficiency, stating “I choose to invest in my leadership team during a time that is very difficult for many so that we can be here to support the industry. This difficulty will pass, and KanTime has solutions to assist the industry. We will continue to be a partner that lives up to the word, and I’m honored to have such a prestigious leadership team.”
