Virginia has chosen an Open/Hybrid EVV model that is a unique approach over other States.  Cures Act Compliant EVV vendors like KanTime add the EVV data to unused fields on the 837P EDI claim for PCS services and will use the 837I EDI claim for Skilled services, so there is no aggregator required.

There are two exceptions however, Consumer Directed Services (CDS) are required to use CellTrak as their EVV Vendor, and the Anthem MCO contracted with Tellus as their EVV vendor and Cures Act Compliant EVV vendors must send their data through the Tellus aggregator for that payor.  KanTime is fully integrated with Tellus for Virginia and has configured its EDI submissions to meet Virginia requirments.  KanTime EVV is in use by our agency customers in Virginia witht he exception of CDS services. You may continue using KanTime software solutions to manage your agency in Virginia.

Texas has chosen the Closed/Hybrid EVV model that forces all agency users to use their selected vendor, currently HHA eXchange, unless they choose to use an approved Proprietary System Vendor which then designates that agency as an approved Proprietary System Operator or PSO.  Agencies providing services that require EVV must use HHA eXchange or an approved Proprietary System Vendor as their EVV vendor.  KanTime Home Healthcare EMR’s proprietary Cures Act Compliant EVV is an authorized Proprietary Services Vendor and several KanTime Customers have achieved PSO authorization from HHSC and utilization of KanTime’s EVV.  KanTime’s EMR is also integrated with HHA eXchange for those Providers who wish to use the state provided system for EVV.
